Governor Wentworth Home Site The mansion summer home of Governor Sir John Wentworth circa 1767. Now an archaeological site owned by the state of New Hampshire. Libby Museum Built in 1912 by Dr. Henry Libby, the museum displays Abenaki Indian relics, artifacts from the site of the Governor Wentworth mansion and a diverse collection of animal specimens. Offering a wonderful variety of children's summer programs. New Hampshire Boat Museum Enjoy an educational and entertaining walk through the history of a wonderful era on the beautiful lakes of New Hampshire. The museum features an array of vintage boats from canoes to speedboats; archival photography, models, lake memorabilia and rotating featured exhibits. A gift shop featuring a full line of books, clothing, and related items is also available. Check the website for current exhibits and events. The Museum is open Memorial Day through Columbus Day.
